Seniors Program

Keeping fit is essential as we get older.

Maintaining muscle mass, flexibility, strong bones and confident balance is a priority for older adults.

At WPS, we can offer you specialised programming to meet your specific needs. Whether its Exercise Physiology or a Pilates program, we will make it fun, challenging and functional. Your program will include:

  • Resistance -based training to help maintain lean muscle mass
  • Weight bearing - for strong bones
  • Gentle stretching - to help maintain your flexibility
  • Balance exercise - for fall prevention

 Consider an initial private session to begin with. This will afford you the best opportunity to jump start a safe and effective program to meet your individual needs.

Care Plans may be available from your GP for Medicare subsidy for up to 5 sessions

"Make balance fun!

Challenge your ability to stay standing and have a laugh learning how to pick yourself back up. In this group we will explore some fun ways to improve your balance while you enjoy some (physically distanced) social interactions.

This class is appropriate for all levels and all activities can be modified to suit your requirements."
